Newspapers do make mistakes, however, the mistakes claimed by Cole in the newspaper's ability to reporting this simple story of the apprehension of a purse snatcher is too extreme. Frank Nordby responds to Cole's most recent letter:
Unless Cole can get The Daily Olympian newspaper to change this newspaper's version of the story to reflect the facts presented by Cole, the facts presented by The Daily Olympian newspaper, in March of 1970, will be considered truthful and no other source of information pertaining to the discrepancies in Cole's version of the event and the newspaper's version of the same event will be valid.
As of today, the facts presented by the Daily Olympian newspaper is considered the only valid source of the facts pertaining to Cole's story about Mullin.
Cole will need to advise the "Daily Olympia" newspaper to change their version of the article to reflect Cole's version of the facts. It's as simple as that.
