Below is the back side to this postcard letter.
A copy of this postcard letter was also sent to the Albertsons' store in Sacramento. A grievance was filed with this union back in May of 2006. It took these overpaid assholes nearly one year (11 months) to provide the member with an answer. Below is a readable letter from Joe Coitti and page 28 of the collective bargaining agreement that references the grievance.
This clerk did everything that the produce manager did when the produce manager was off work. He worked the produce, wet rack, took care of the customers, wrote product orders for the deliveries, and order supplies for the department. In fact, he did a lot more. This was the only clerk who knew how to properly change prices, practically the only clerk who knew how to make produce signs with the computer, add new produce items into the scanning system so the item would scan at the checkstands. The only reason why this clerk wasn't a produce manager is because of politics. If you weren't liked by inept supervisors, you weren't ever promoted...
Below is the original grievance drafted by Paul Supat. Why didn't Paul send Mr. Nordby the letter that Joe Coitti sent to Mr. Nordby on April 5? Maybe Paul didn't have the stomach for this kind of dishonesty!
I have caught hundreds of dishonest thieves in my life, and I would have never imagined in a million years that there would be so many of them brazenly operating out of the halls of a labor union representing hard working Americans.
